Fluids for solar thermal collectors
![]()
A solar thermal collector collects heat by absorbing sunlight. Solar thermal energy is used for heating purposes in buildings.
A mixture of water and glycol circulates in the solar thermal collector. The fluid warms up as it circulates, and the heat energy contained in the fluid is used to heat buildings and/or domestic water.
Fluids for solar thermal collectors are available at different concentrations according to the desired frost resistance.
