Antifreeze and anticorrosive agents

Our antifreeze and anticorrosive agents are called KK-INHIMEG and KK-INHIPROP. They protect cooling, condensing and heat recovery systems effectively against freezing and corrosion.

They contain monoethylene or monopropylene glycol and a long-lasting corrosion inhibitor called KK-620. KK-620 does not contain any toxic nitrates.

We supply KK-INHIMEG and KK-INHIPROP antifreeze/anticorrosive agents in various solutions depending on the desired frost resistance (25 %, 30 %, 35 %, 40 % and 45 %).

Long-lasting functionality with KK-620 corrosion inhibitor

Glycol-based systems under the promenade in Jyväskylä (Central Finland) have been protected against corrosion and deposits with our KK-620 corrosion inhibitor. The systems have been functioning impeccably for about 15 years without any need for the replacement of glycol.

Recovery and recycling of aged glycol solutions

Water-glycol solutions used as a heat transfer liquids may contain large quantities of heavy metals, in which case they are categorized as hazardous waste and must be disposed of appropriately. Water-glycol solutions containing minor quantities of impurities can be recovered, cleaned and recycled. 

Recovery and recycling of aged glycol solutions

For recycling we accept aged ethylene and propylene glycol solutions the glycol content of which is at least 20 % and which do not contain any oil. These solutions are forwarded to our partner for cleaning and recycling. The cleaning process is based on different kinds of filtration and evaporation methods. As a result, waste glycol can be recycled and reused as a raw material in different kinds of processes.
