KL-Lämpö Reaches Advanced Performance Level in EcoVadis Assessment

KL-Lämpö improved its sustainability performance in the 2026 EcoVadis sustainability assessment. The company once again earned an EcoVadis Bronze Medal, while the key milestone was reaching the Advanced performance level for the first time.

EcoVadis is a global leader in business sustainability assessments. The EcoVadis assessment evaluates 21 sustainability criteria across four core themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. The assessment is based on documented evidence and helps companies identify strengths in their sustainability management as well as areas for improvement.

KL-Lämpö achieved an overall score of 69, an increase of five points from the previous year. The result placed the company at the EcoVadis Advanced performance level for the first time. KL-Lämpö also ranked among the top 25% of companies assessed by EcoVadis globally.

KL-Lämpö improved its scores across all four assessment themes compared with the previous year. The most significant improvements were achieved in Ethics and Sustainable Procurement.

According to EcoVadis benchmarking, KL-Lämpö performs above the industry average across all assessed themes. The result reflects the continued progress of the company’s long-term sustainability efforts and its commitment to sustainable business practices.
